WHAT PEOPLE HAVE TO SAY

In just two months of lessons with Eli, I have gone from being unable to read chords to playing chords and melodies at a drum beat at 100 bpm — a remarkable progression. Coming to jazz after years of classical training, I needed a teacher who could bridge those two very different musical worlds. Eli has done exactly that.

His patience, clarity of instruction, and thoughtful pacing have made each lesson both productive and enjoyable. I particularly appreciate that he provides recordings after each session for review — a simple but invaluable practice that extends the learning well beyond our time together.

Eli is the teacher I’ve been hoping to find for my child. Much like a guitarist, but with the piano, he’s rapidly understanding chord progression, chord structure, and how to improvise his own short instrumentals. The ear training alone has been fantastic as far as being able to nail key and pitch quickly. After watching Rick Beato for a couple of years on YouTube, I wanted my child to grasp music as he does. All the greats understand music in a very deeply fundamental way, and we’ve been looking for a teacher who can provide for that kind of instruction. Fortunately we found Eli!

Eli is the best! He comes to our home once a week to do piano lessons with our 10 year old son. He helped us find an affordable keyboard for him to learn with. Our son has ADHD and Eli does a great job keeping him focused and our son has a blast learning from him. Eli is super kind and definitely understands what works for kids, he incentivizes our son with stickers and things he likes. Eli also makes the weekly homework/practice assignments reasonable for busy families.
